I’m not going to talk about to cast, because it is a great cast. You’ve got to take my word for that. It really fits together.

The other thing I’m not going to talk about much, is the plot, because it pretty much sucks, big time. That doesn’t mean the movie sucks. On the contrary, I really loved watching this movie. The plot is simple. There are actually two story-lines in RockNrolla which cross each other. First: a rich Russian real estate company wants to build some buildings in London, but can’t get a permit for that. He needs to bribe some councillor to get the permit. Millions of pounds need to be delivered in cash and the tough guys in the movie, called “The Wild Bunch”, get hold of that rumor and are trying to get the money.

The other story is about a supposedly dead rocker who went missing. The same dead rocker also stole a lucky painting, which was borrowed by a gangster from the russian real estate agent (do you still get it…?). You get the point. The movie is a bit chaotic and that makes it really fun.

The movie is pretty fast and doesn’t get boring at all. The acting was great and the soundtrack is awesome! The film work was not bad either. It’s a good mix of action and comedy. The movie does tend to steal some ideas from Pulp Fiction. For example: a certain scene with One-Two tied up on a bed. I don’t blame Guy Ritchie for it. It made me laugh. Good piece of directing.

All in all, I really recommend this movie! You won’t regret watching it. You can watch the trailer below:
